Dating options
We encourage researchers to contact us before undertaking any dating programme to discuss their samples and research objectives.
- AMS Dating: Chemical pretreatments, CO2 production and graphitisation are undertaken at Waikato. Graphite is analysed at the Keck AMS Radiocarbon Laboratory, University of California, Irvine.
- Express Option: An express service option is offered for urgent samples. AMS samples can be express dated in 4 weeks; 6 weeks for bone (please contact the lab for availability).
